At Key Stage 4, pupils build on the skills and knowledge gained at Key Stage 3, embarking on a journey toward an appropriate range of accreditations, including Entry Level, GCSE, Functional Skills, and BTEC, as well as additional qualifications such as Food Hygiene. They begin to follow accreditation pathways, much like their mainstream peers, with most pupils having a number of option choices. This enables them to take ownership of their individual paths to success. The variety of accreditation levels provides each pupil with a tailored and achievable Key Stage 4 offer.
