School Uniform

Oak Lodge School Uniform price list

All pupils will be expected to wear the correct uniform, as this gives the feeling of belonging and we want your child to be really proud of being a student at Oak Lodge School.  Our Uniform is designed to make life easier for pupils and parents in making our expectations clear and easy to follow.  We hope this will encourage pupils to take pride in their appearance and enhance the image of the school.

 

Our uniform is as follows:

Green Jumper with logo

Black Jumper with logo (year 11’s only)

White shirt

Trousers/Smart tailored shorts/skirts – black or grey

Sensible black shoes

Black Blazer (Optional)

School tie (Optional)

 

Physical Education:    

Black Zip PE Hoody with logo                   

Black shorts

White t-shirt with logo

White socks

Trainers (MUST be suitable for astro-turf)

Swimming shorts/one-piece costume

Swimming goggles (if required)

Towel

Pupils to come to school wearing PE Kit on PE days

 

PLEASE ENSURE THAT ALL ITEMS OF UNIFORM ARE CLEARLY LABELLED WITH YOUR CHILD’S NAME

Overcoats/Jackets
All pupils should wear an appropriate coat or jacket to protect against cold and wet weather.

 

Jewellery
In the interests of health and safety, pupils are not allowed to wear jewellery other than a watch and one pair of stud earrings; jewellery associated with body piercing, other than ear lobes, is strictly prohibited. Jewellery, including sleepers and studs, must be removed for PE even though it can be worn at other times.

 

Hair
Pupils who have long hair must tie it back during activities where personal safety or hygiene requires this.

 

Personal Belongings
All personal belongings should be clearly marked with the owner’s name. Any money should be handed into the class tutor or the school office for safekeeping.


Items such mobile phones and similar items SHOULD BE HANDED IN TO THE CLASS TUTOR ON ARRIVAL IN THE MORNING AND WILL BE STORED IN A SAFE PLACE. Parents should note that the school cannot accept liability for the loss or damage of personal property. Anything found should be handed into a member of staff or the school office.
