Computing at Oak Lodge School
Computing at Oak Lodge School is designed to equip pupils with essential digital skills that will support their learning, personal development, and future opportunities. Our curriculum focuses on providing students with the knowledge and confidence to use technology effectively, while fostering problem-solving, creativity, and independence.
Lessons cover a range of topics, including basic computer skills, internet safety, data management, and the use of multimedia tools. Through hands-on activities, interactive learning, and the use of assistive technology, pupils gain practical experience in using devices and software to enhance their communication, creativity, and everyday life.
The Computing program is designed to meet the individual needs of each student, ensuring that they can engage with technology in a way that is accessible and enjoyable. Our aim is to help pupils develop digital literacy and critical thinking skills, preparing them for both academic success and a future in a technology-driven world.
