Entry level - Pre GCSE

Each entry level qualification is available at three sub-levels - 1, 2 and 3. Entry level 3 is the most difficult.  Step up English is also entry level with Gold being equivalent to entry level 3.  Functional Skills Entry Level also falls under this category.

Level 1

Level 1 qualifications are approximately equivalent to grades 1-3 at GCSE.  These include Functionals Skills and Btec. 

Level 2

Level 2 qualifications are approximately equivalent to grade 4 at GCSE.  These include Functionals Skills and Btec.
