Admissions

If you would like your child to attend our school, please see full details of our admission arrangements below.

Oak Lodge School has a catchment area which covers the South West of Hampshire, and caters for pupils who have an Education, Health and Care Plan. Pupils admitted to Oak Lodge School have a range of learning difficulties.

Education, Health and Care Plan’s (EHCP) are issued by the Local Authority and are reviewed annually.

In preparation for transferring to secondary school, your child’s annual review will be a Transfer Review where parents are able to name their preferred school. The information gathered is then sent to the  SEND department at the Local Authority, who consult to ensure the child’s needs can be suitably met at the school of choice and the placement confirmed.

We appreciate that many parents are keen to explore our school, and while we'd love to accommodate individual visits, we are currently unable to do so. Instead, our resources are focused on welcoming groups during our Open Evenings, held in the Autumn and Spring terms. These events are a fantastic opportunity to experience the school's atmosphere and meet our dedicated staff, including our SENCo and pastoral team, who can answer any questions you may have.

Please check the Latest News section for announcements and information on our Open Evenings
