Food Technology
Food Technology is a subject where pupils consistently make good to outstanding progress. It is taught in a fully equipped food technology room with a range of equipment and resources available to support a wide range of topics. The room is set up with paired kitchen work areas like home.
Pupils work on developing a range of skills including:

Understanding health and safety in the food room

Developing an understanding of a healthy diet and life style

Developing kitchen skills like knife handling, using the hob and oven, using specialist equipment

Working with a partner, sharing and developing skills and knowledge
